Should my husband plead guilty or not guilty?

It's a long story, but my husband has a bench warrant from 2005. He has never plead to these charges and now they consider him a fugitive because we have been out of state for 5 years. The charges are (2)Theft By Unlaw Taking-Movable Prop (2)Receiving Stolen Property, and (2)Crim Misch/Dmg Prop Intent, Reckless, Or Neglig. We moved us and our children back to this state so he can do the right thing and turn himself in, because he is not the same person he used to be. What I am trying to find out, is if he pleads guilty or not guilty, what will the punishment be, and if he pleads not guilty, will they let him out of jail until the trial. And he will have a hearing within 72 hours of being placed in their jail, what will happen at that hearing? I just want him to not be in jail, but they consider him a fugitive, so what can we do to make the court know that he is not going to run from this anymore? Any information will be helpful. Please and thank you.
