i found a nest that ad been destroyed after the storm and there were baby birds scattered, so i took them in and put them in a box i hav had them for 3 days now and i hav been feeding them bread soaked in milk which i found out im not supposed to do, so i must now feed them dog food soaked in water. but no bird rehabilitation places in my state will take starlings, i would just keep them but their are FOUR!!! and if i do decide to care for them can i let them go once they can get food on their own? and how am i supposed to teach them to fly? please help!!

My drawing tablet doesnt occupy the whole screen?

Ok, so I have a Wacom Bamboo Tablet Model CTH-460. It doesnt have any problem, even in Photoshop and Paint Tool SAI. but when I used it in Manga Studio EX, the mouse pointer seems to occupy only a small space in the left top corner of my whole screen. It works perfectly fine with other software but it doesnt work well with Manga Studio. I remember my brother used it once with Manga Studio and it doesnt have any problem. Now that I am the one who`s gonna use it, it doesnt work anymore. I already tried removing preferences in the Preference Utility, but nothing changed. Is there a problem with my tablet? or maybe I changed the settings accidentally in Manga Studio, that`s why its not working well with my tablet? Can anyone help me fix this problem?

I am currently an athletic training major, who just won an award for being the head student athletic trainer, I have cataloged 10 physical rehabilitation cases in just 1 semester through the college athletic training department (I am only in my first year...I will have clocked about 1000 hours assisting rehab under supervision by graduation and yes I do understand that observation is counted ONLY if it was through a licensed physical therapy pracitioner), I am an emergency medical technician basic with over 200 hours of volunteer EMS time, I will be working this summer in a surgical/ortho department of a hospital, and I have a GPA of 3.91 with a 4.00 in all science/behavioral science courses. I am also bilingual and come from a medically underserved area (I know that in some states that actually does count towards admission). Just looking at that, can anybody tell me what my chances of getting into a Doctorate of Physical Therapy program after I obtain my degree? I also intend on getting my license and being an Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC).

Mac computer plus iso?

Hi, I just recently obtained a mac computer without an operating system. I have put in a new hard drive and i wanted to put OSX on it. Does the installation CD have to have the OSX as a dmg file or can the file on the disk be an iso file? Reason being is because the only other computer i have access to is a computer with Windows on it and Windows can burn dmg files onto a disk, only iso files.

What did I do to my thumb?

I have been carving a piece of wood. I am an artist but I have never carved before. I had a lot of detail on it and it was very intricate carving. While I was carving mt thumb started to hurt right at the knuckle. I kept going just thinking it was where I had never carved before and my thumb was getting sore. Well it has been a day or two and it hurts really bad! It hurts to put pressure on it or to move it. it is just a little bit swollen. Salt water chlorinated pool care- water quality and by products?

I just opened an above the ground salt water chlorinated pool, 8600 gallon pool, intex pool running the intex salt water chlorinator with copper ion. I have taken samples of my water to my local pool supply store. They don't seem very knowledgeable about the correct levels and contradict what the directions say. Can anyone give me pointers or tips? I have added stabilizer and the alkalinity is perfect. The water tastes quite salty. I have run the SWC 10 hours every day. I am thinking this might be too much? The pool store does not agree there should be any level of copper, but the directions say there should be a small amount of copper to combat the algae, correct? Also I pulled the cover back to look in the pool and I think I got a chemical burn to the edge of the color of my eyeball. So now I am very worried about the water stability.

Your lack of life experience is probably making you feel that your social skills are a problem, I don't that they are. Your just starting college and your racing one hundred miles an hour to get everything together. You most certianly have new school stress out and who doesn't want to be a brain child with super reading, retention and test taking skills, mostly everyone, maybe a few who still havent figured out why they are still in school. I am not sure about the vitamins, I would be inclined to research them in a lttle more depth. What are the draw backs to taking them and does the benefit out weigh the possible side effects or contraindications. I don't think you can get personality in a pill it is something you develop over time and life, Your just a shy personality and that is a very attractive quality in and of itself, it usually means you think deeper than others, your aware of your own feelings which translates in to overawareness of others. Try to settle down, take the vitamins if you think it is a possible solution to help you, I think you just need time to figure out your place and comfort zone, be as nice as you can comfortably be and spend the time doing what your suppose to be doing, learning, getting a feel for what your intrest vs requirements are, have fun! You'll be fine, I would bet in the next week or two your vitamin free!

Pregnant? Period? or Paranoid?

Here's my situation. I usually get my period June 10th. However, I had sex June 3rd. It was protected, but there was an accident. The condom broke. We noticed it right away, but timing never makes a difference with these things. Now, I am the type to worry about everything, so of course, the whole 7 days after, I was freaking out. On the 10th, I did not get my period...or the 11th...or the 12th...or the 13th...I grew worried throughout those days. However, on the 14th, I finally gave up and assumed I was pregnant. Then, I got my period. Now, I believe it was my period because it filled up pads for the first 3 days then slowed down the last two (like always, 5 days). I stopped worry for a little while. Then I started googling information to calm myself down and be prepared in case of another scare. Of course, this did not help me. I learned about implantation bleeding and I grew worried again. As I said, the bleeding filled up the pads and it was red all the way through. Not pinkish or brown. So again, I calmed down for a few days. Then 2 weeks after I began having discharge. Again, I began to worry. I am aware that you have frequent discharge during pregnancy. I did some more googling and calculating and came to the conclusion that I was just ovulating. I know you can't ovulate while you're pregnant. My discharge is clear, sticky, and has the "egg white" texture. I was able to stretch it out between my thumb and pointer finger. As you can see, I worry a lot. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I plan on taking another one soon, but in the mean time, am I just stressing myself out too much? Was that my actual period? Help me out. :l I'm quite the worrier as you can see.

I know many people jump to conclusions on this, but I've done a lot of research myself, and I've gone through depressive, hypomanic, and manic episodes. I think it's probably bipolar 1, because I've only had one depressive episode and many hypomanic. My dad is bipolar, and it runs through the family. My parents are separated and my dad is off the grid, and my mom has so many things to worry about by herself. Wild Collared Turtle Dove in South Florida?

About 4 days ago I found an injured dove. it seems to be a collared turtle dove. I have been getting him to eat and drink well. I feel like I'm doing really well with him, but I also feel like if he dies it will be all my fault. So I'm going to bring him to the rehabilitation center nearby. Should my husband plead guilty or not guilty?

It's a long story, but my husband has a bench warrant from 2005. He has never plead to these charges and now they consider him a fugitive because we have been out of state for 5 years. Since the big bang patch has occurred I want to know the current views towards dragon knights vs. crusaders. My Car accident is to Far fetched to believe what do i do?

I got hit by a MotorCycle hit and run while sitting at a intersection which was poorly lit and had no cameras; it is the worst intersection in my town. the Reason i have trouble with it was because i cant recall much for the fact that when i heard a sound i turned my head to it and saw a motorcycle slideing fast towards me. I then turned my head and ducked for cover as i could have sworn it was about to get worse. i felt two large bumps, and a loud scream as the motorcycle hit my car. I then got up to look and the motorist had allready gotten back on the bike and drove away the opposite direction i had been coming from. but i went back the next morning there are no skid marks or scratch marks on the pavement, the dmg to my car is weird at that as well. scratch marks that are on the door and and random bump marks as well. I look at this and see exactly what a cop or investigator is going to say when he looks at this and hes going to say insurance fraud.... what in the hell do i do?

I just bought a Mac computer and noticed that downloads are installed via a disk image while on Windows it was executable files. Are Apple disk images more secure than executable files? Sometimes on a Mac, I'm required to provide an administrative password to permit the continuation of a program install while on windows a vaguely remember having to ever do this? Why is this? Can I open .exe files on a mac (with no boot camp, on Mac OS by default) and vice versa?

Sounds fractured but I can't see it so I can't tell you anything more than that. Limited range of motion, moderate to severe pain, discoloration - good symptoms saying you need to go to the doctor for an xray. The funny thing about bones, is that if you let them heal themselves they can sometimes grow wrong which can cause you serious issues (chronic gout like pain, etc).

Mac won't boot up need help!!?

I have a PowerBook G4 that i received from a friend so i do not have any OS installation disk. It was running OS X Tiger and i was trying to install leopard onto it from a .dmg file. When I was 10, I had a rod put in my back because of scoliosis. At the time, I was in a wheelchair because I had very bad ankles from birth. Rods were eventually put in my ankles as well. After my back surgery, I spent the next couple of years in my wheelchair. A year ago, I finally had the surgery done on my ankles. I spent 3 months in rehabilitation therapy. All throughout, my back just would not straighten out. The doctor said we would just worry about strengthen up my legs so that I can start walking. Well, I am on canes now but I walk hunched over. My legs don't make walking hard, my back does. The last two weeks of therapy, the therapist started working on my back. I would spend 20 minutes of therapy under a heating pad. But, nothing has changed and she said my back is probably contracted(sp?) from being in the chair. I don't even know what that means. I go back to the doctor in a couple of weeks but I was just wondering if anyone had an idea was could be wrong. I just want to brace myself if he tell me I will need another surgery to straighten out my back.

I think you could do with a Luxray. It is good overall stats. Train it to about lvl 55 and it should be a great Pokemon. You can train it more if you want to but change your party a bit. The Crobat should be replaced by a legendary Pokemon like Dialga, Palkia or Giratina.

Why is my dog so hard to train?

I usually grow my finger nails long and i get too lazy to cut them. I was going to cut them in a few days until my left pointer finger nail started ripping off. Why am i so sad about selling my horse?

7 months ago i bought my TB gelding that is six years old. When i bought him i fell in love. He was my first horse and i was so excited. Later on i found out he had so many issues. Help! G5 PPC boots up and says "can't exec /bin/sh for single user: No such file or directory"?

Help! I have a G5 PPC running on OSX 10.4 I did a .dmg reinstall from an external. Now when it comes on, after the gray apple screen, the screen goes black and says "Launched: can't exec /bin/sh for single user: No such file or directory" and the fans go crazy at full speed. All I can give you is just my opinion and its still all gonna be left up to you but if I were you, I would try to do some type of light workout no matter how little it is every little bit helps but you have to stay dedicated and determined. Do any and every exercise that you know of and that you are physically able to do. If you feel that your eating might be playing a part in your weight then you should cut back a little and start eating several small meals a day because that's how you keep your metabolism up and going. Im sorry for your disease, I hope there is someway it gets better and I did take time to look at the picture you put up and you do carry your weight pretty well, like you said and by the way 5'10" is a tall woman! The last thing im gonna say is don't ever give up on anything you do and when things start to feel overwhelming and too tough to keep going, always remember to stop and take time to pray about it.

Mac OSX and dmg files?

Double click the .dmg file and it will mount to the disk. The contents will open and there should be either an installer or the .app file. The installation will automatically put the application into its proper folder, and the .app file can be drug to the folder. Once the .app file is actually on the hard drive (the installation/drag and drop), unmount the .dmg by click the little arrow next to its name in any Finder window. The original .dmg can be deleted and the application is safely tucked away in the applications folder.

Wii remote cursor glitches like crazy on screen?

When i am on any game, or even in the Wii menu, when i point my wii remote to the TV screen, the little pointer hand (cursor) starts moving all around the screen. When i try to aim at a button on screen, the wii remote will start moving every where and i have no control over it. i tried unplugging the sensor bar, restarting the wii, changing the batteries, adjusting the sensor bar, trying a different controller, and changing the sensitivity of the controller but when i make the sensitivity low, the pointer disappears and reappears everywhere, almost like its completely gone. Do i need a new sensor bar? Please help!

I downloaded the iPod software to downgrade my iPod and the software downloaded as a .zip file. I extracted everything to one folder and there is a folder called Firmware and a bunch of files like 022-3601-4.dmg and atuff like. Load OSX 10.6 on external HDD and boot for re-install of OS?

Yesterday it registered pressure, but was drawing far to the left compared to where the pointer was. Today it doesn't register pressure, but it is drawing in the correct spot. I'm completely baffled. Sprained achilles help?

A couple months back, i sprained my achilles but i thought i sparined my ankles. I sprained it again like 2-3 times, and i just realized that it was an achilles sprain. When i walk i dont feel pain but if i jump off that foot or put a decent amuont of pressure on it hurts a litle. Personal opinion only, though. Also, since the court date is coming up anyway, you would be better off suggesting such a situation there.

Leopard OS X restore to a Powerbook G5?

Okay - I restored my Powerbook G4 to factory settings because I was giving it to my mother and I was taking her iMac. When purchased, my Powerbook G4 came with Tiger OS. A couple of years ago, a friend with an extra copy of Leopard OS X, let me install it onto my laptop. I did a complete backup to an external hard drive before I restored the Powerbook. Obviously, when I go onto the Powerbook now, it is back to Tiger OS. The problem now is that Migration Assistant with Tiger OS does not offer the option to connect to an external hard drive to transfer all of your data back. What I'm wondering is, is a .dmg or some sort of copy of Leopard OS in any of the external hard drive data that was on my Powerbook prior to the restore? If not, can anyone offer any suggestions? Yes, I know I can purchase Leopard OS X on ebay or somewhere else and just be done with it but I'm trying to avoid that at the moment. Thanks.

Any and all costs should have been made known to you prior to the procedure. You should discuss this "oversight" with her supervisor. They may be happy to make a payment arrangement with you. My brother in-law recently had spinal surgery to correct degenerated discs (2). At the same time a minor abdominal hernia was corrected. I stress the minor. The hospital bill. $147,000! The doctors $30,000 for the spinal surgery, $2,500 for the hernia. $3,000 for the anesthesiologist. The operations were done in the same operating room and took a total of around 3 hours. Then there was the physical therapy. The total cost ended up around $200,000. You can only imagine what open heart surgery would cost. After all their insurances, which included medicare and a private insurer paid, they had to take out a mortgage on their home to pay their part of the bills. It makes you want to scream for national health care! Right now the hospital and doctors can and will charge whatever the traffic will bear......usually more. I apologize for the long answer but hearing stories such as yours and my brother-in-law's really pisses me off. Sorry for venting on you. Good luck to you!
