Question about contempt of court motion over child support?

As a non-lawyer and simply someone who has heard a lot of problems associated with child support: I would not make any "deals" with her without knowledge of a third party (lawyers or court) as those kinds of deals can backfire when one side or the other claims something did or did not happen. Personal opinion only, though. Also, since the court date is coming up anyway, you would be better off suggesting such a situation there.
