I am looking into becoming a Computer Tech or IT person, but where do I start?

My whole life I was raised around computers. My father is a Computer Network engineer himself. I have always been amazing with computers and can usually fix them when there is a problem and I am great at learning things about them on my own and teaching myself. I have no real training except for a Cisco Network certificate from 10 years ago, which is no good now since this field is always changing! I really want to go to school for a Computer Tech future. The problem I have is knowing where to start. What school to go to? I am a mother of one now, expecting a second in October. I am looking into starting school next spring. Are there ANY computer techs or IT guys or gals out there that just can give me a pointer in which direction to head and where to start?
