Depends on how far you want to push it. Check your contract if it has a not responsible for accidents clause you may have to argue it. However if they openly admitted that it was left out you have leverage. Its a double edged sword. Be prepared to be made to feel incredibly unwelcome if you push the issue because I cant for see them paying and saying sorry very lightly. Hope everything works out for you guys.

He will get kicked out of the class. A school really isn't a place to question and argue against a whole subject's stance. The right thing to do would be to NOT join the Women's Studies class and get involved in activism in the appropriate way - there are groups for this very thing. Disrupting a class with more than likely obnoxious and anger-laden facts will get him an F and nothing more.
