I cannot play games in full screen anymore?

Just now, i downloaded a game and when i opened it, the game screen is a small rectangle in the middle Now, when I open other games, the games screen is just a very small rectangle in the middle of the display, and it is all black outside the rectangle. I cannot move my mouse pointer outside the rectangle, either. How can i change it back?
